Description

Saved from the scrapyard, this historic buoy and light tender is the only vessel of its kind still intact in the United States. Now docked as a museum ship, it hosts a mix of historical and art exhibitions, educational programs, and community events. The vessel is an ongoing restoration project, with volunteers helping to get it running again. Visitors can wander the decks to connect with the city's seafaring past. Exploring the ship is free, though donations are requested to support the preservation efforts.
