Along with picnic tables and landscaped perimeters, the space accommodates both dedicated spotters and families keeping tabs on various aircraft types as they touch down and depart. On-site installations feature QR codes exploring the airport's century-old history, letting visitors learn about the municipal hub from a phone while watching the tarmac.
