Lee’s Unleaded Blues

Operating since the 1970s on S. South Chicago Ave., this historic institution returns following updates by new owner Warren Berger and manager Jennifer Littleton. The reconfigured layout seats about 110 guests near a stage where a bathroom positioned directly beside it lets visitors brush a cymbal on their way. The interior blends a cozy, living-room feel with new walnut drink rails, remodeled bathrooms, and blue-painted walls. Guests encounter authentic live blues bands and local legends, alongside a live DJ on Friday nights.
