Tanios and Marie Abi-Najm started the restaurant in Arlington’s Westover neighborhood after escaping civil war in Beirut three years earlier. Their kitchen introduced classic Lebanese family cooking to the D.C. area, growing over the decades into a cherished dining institution built on warm hospitality.
