Description

The building itself has a history, having served 30 varieties of natural spring water to parkgoers in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today, it is one of just three dining venues operating inside Central Park. The newly renovated interior is bright and casual, though indoor seating is notoriously tight when the weather turns cold. Outside, the space is ideal for people-watching and dog-spotting. The kitchen serves warm pastries and hot drinks, though execution can be uneven—visitors praise the hot vanilla lattes but note the matcha can run watery.
