Description

Argan, a notorious hypochondriac, chains himself to clysters, enemas, and other purgations to cure his imaginary illnesses, and even plans to marry his daughter to a doctor, declaring with honest naivety: 'It's for me that I give her a doctor husband!' This family-friendly adaptation of Molière's classic invites audiences from age 6 to laugh at our own foibles. The intimate venue allows for interactions with the public, and one reviewer noted that while the children were unsure at first, they later asked to return, having found the play 'fantastic.'
