Description

Beyond its main plays, the venue hosts children’s shows, concerts, and lectures, alongside improv performances that run on an irregular schedule. The room itself is famously compact. While visitors praise the acoustics and the highly visible stage, seating space is tight; the rows have no aisle on the far side, meaning once you step in, you are committed to your spot. Formerly known as the Théâtre du Triomphe and Comédie Contrescarpe, the space was renamed Le Contrescarpe in 2024.
