Description
Director Damiano Michieletto draws on his Venetian commedia dell’arte roots to channel the burlesque vein of Rossini’s music. Preserving the fiery momentum of Beaumarchais’ original comedy, this staging leans into the bubbling energy of the classic opera buffa to play out the story's frantic schemes.
