Lavergne's Tavern

Set in the former Garv’s Inn space at Windsor and East Avenues, brothers Jerry and Jorge Hernandez updated the neighborhood staple with restored tin ceilings, hardwood floors, and a centerpiece bar rebuilt from reclaimed black walnut. Executive Chef Mark Downing oversees an elevated menu featuring egg rolls packed with Italian beef, giardiniera, spicy queso, and Monterey jack with au jus. Aside from the beer taps, the bar pours selected wines and cocktails made with fresh-squeezed juices, with seating arranged to stay friendly to both families and nights out.
