Laser-Lit Concerts In A Cermak Road Warehouse Hall

Touring EDM, rock, and hip-hop acts light up a converted Cermak Road warehouse with wall-to-wall laser rigs south of the Loop.

🔦 Inside the warehouse

Radius Chicago is a concert hall carved out of a former warehouse on Cermak Road, a short walk from Chinatown and McCormick Place on the Near South Side. The main room is a wide, pillar-lined floor with a high ceiling, and the house laser system throws blue and green beams the full depth of the hall during headline sets.

The booking leans toward electronic, rock, and hip-hop tours that need a big standing-room floor, and the crowd packs in close to the stage. A red-lit lobby of concrete columns handles the pre-show crush, and the exterior wears large commissioned murals that mark the entrance from the street. The venue draws show-goers from across the South Side and the Loop, with parking lots and the Cermak-McCormick Green Line stop close by.
