Lao Szechuan
4.4 (203)restaurant
A versatile dining space pairing fiery Sichuan classics with tabletop barbecue, hot pot, and boba tea.
Description

The Doraville space gathers three distinct operations under a single Buford Highway roof. Lao Szechuan, launched in Chicago by chef Xiaojun (Tony) Hu, anchors the kitchen with its traditional spicy regional dishes. Kanpai supplies the communal dining element, pairing table-grilled meats and seafood seasoned with Southeast Asian spices with interactive shabu-shabu hot pot. To round out the visit, Te'amo, an Asian American women-owned cafe started in Chicago by Mia Wan, serves signature boba teas and desserts.
