Once a retreat for Oʻahu chiefs, this oceanfront estate shelters a natural lagoon framed by lava rock and rolling lawns.
Description

Translating to “where heaven meets the earth,” the estate sits along the Kapolei coast in Ko Olina. Alice Kamokilaikawai Campbell chose the property as her home in 1939. Today, the Lanikūhonua Cultural Institute stewards the grounds to preserve and promote Hawaiian culture, keeping the site bordered by native coastal plants as a venue for Hawaiian studies classes, cultural programming, community events, and weddings.
