Lakefront Trail - Belmont Harbor - 3200 N
4.8 (32)park
Dedicated lakefront paths curve past Belmont Harbor, framing docked boats against the Chicago skyline.
Description

At the 3200 North stretch, this paved corridor forms part of a lakefront network spanning from Ardmore Avenue in the north down to 71st Street on the south side. Following a 2018 project designed to ease congestion, the original shared path was split into an 18-mile bike trail and an 18.5-mile pedestrian trail, giving runners, walkers, and cyclists distinct lanes along Lake Michigan. While it serves as open-air recreation along the water, the route also operates as an active transportation corridor for daily cross-city commuting.
