Lake Lotus Park
3.9 (269)park
Elevated boardwalks wind through 150 acres of wetlands and woods, offering quiet wildlife spotting by the lake.
Description

In 1972, the City of Altamonte Springs purchased the land to protect its ecosystem from development. Today, miles of wooden boardwalks extend through dense swamps and forests, providing close-up views of native flora and dedicated birdwatching spots. Beyond the boardwalk network, the grounds feature an environmental center, fishing piers, and playgrounds, alongside picnic pavilions.
