Lake Chabot Boat Area

Set about half an hour from San Francisco, the marina serves as a practical launchpad onto the water and into a surrounding network of over a dozen hiking and biking trails. Attendants handle the launch and retrieval for rented kayaks and paddle boats, smoothing the transition onto the reservoir. Back on shore, the cafe doubles as a supply post where anglers can pick up fishing licenses and gear alongside snacks, with an outdoor seating area looking directly over the docks.
