Located within President's Park north of the White House, this seven-acre public space is surrounded by impressive historic buildings and filled with statues, trees, and benches. Four corner statues anchor a central monument to Jackson. The grounds serve as a central gathering place for public demonstrations, celebrations, and historical walking tours, while occasionally facing security closures.
