In February 1986, a Mexican family opened a small storefront in Houston, seeking to serve a Hispanic community that few noticed. The concept has since grown into more than 140 locations across Texas, anchored in major hubs like Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio while reaching smaller cities including Corpus Christi, Lufkin, Bryan, and the Rio Grande Valley.
