Founded in 1998 by former parent Sherry Ahern through the non-profit Friends of La Jolla Elementary, the market directs its proceeds into art, music, library resources, and teachers. Beyond farm and artisan tables, the space fills with hot food and gourmet vendors. A few neighborly amenities help smooth out the visit, including complimentary golf cart rides to parked cars, purchase-transport assistance at the information booth, and a free dog-sitting service provided by Dog Zenergy.
