Doña Maria, born and raised in Mexico City, opened the restaurant with a vision rooted in family tradition and gathering over home-cooked meals. Its name translates to campfire in Spanish, inspired by Don Vram’s travels through the mountains of Mexico, where he would camp, cook over an open flame, and share stories under the stars.
