La Calle Tacos & Cantina
restaurant
Mexico City street food made from scratch, backed by a generous salsa bar and late-night agave cocktails.
Description

Founders Ramon and Fernando drew their recipes from the CDMX street stalls of their youth, running a kitchen with no freezers, microwaves, or can openers. The food centers on small corn-tortilla tacos, tortas loaded with carnitas and carne asada, and specialties like volcanes and tacos de alambre. Past the saloon doors, the room shifts into a late-night cantina with sports on screen, pouring micheladas with a chamoy rim alongside tequila flights and reposado margaritas.
