La Antorcha de la Amistad (Spanish for "The Torch of Friendship")

Set along East Commerce Street, the monumental abstract work was commissioned as a gift from the Mexican government and the Mexican-American community. It stands as a civic landmark celebrating the cultural heritage and close bilateral relationship between San Antonio and Mexico.
