Description

Located within the Kuaokala Forest Reserve, the trail passes rows of lemon gum eucalyptus before descending into Manini Gulch. The route traverses an active public hunting area where hikers may encounter hunters, while overnight stays rely on undesignated campsites along the corridor with no drinking water available. Trailhead access requires passing through a security checkpoint at the Kaena Point Satellite Tracking Station, where the Space Force controls entry.
