Krewella and NERVO Take Halloween From Daylight to Dark on Pier 17

Skip the parade crush and spend Halloween sunset dancing on a rooftop above the East River.

Dance above the river on Halloween.

🎃 Halloween on the Rooftop

🎧 Who Plays the Rooftop

Project 91 presents a Halloween party on The Rooftop at Pier 17, with Krewella and NERVO at the top of the bill and Arty and DVBBS rounding out the lineup. Both headliners are sister acts from the festival side of electronic music, and the afternoon plays out as one long run of dance sets. The venue describes the rooftop as ringed by skyline views that take in the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and One World Trade Center. Set times are not posted, so plan on the whole afternoon rather than one act's slot.

🌇 From Daylight Into Dark

Doors open at 3 PM on Saturday, October 31, and the show wraps by 10 PM. The first hours run in full daylight, the sun sets before 6 PM, and the stage lights carry the rest of the night. Every guest has to be 18 and over, and the show runs outdoors rain or shine. A layer for the wind off the river is worth carrying once the sun goes down. Liberty Club is a paid upgrade on top of a general admission ticket, not a ticket on its own, and the stage is not visible from inside it, where the sets play on TVs.

🎟️ Tickets, Entry and Getting There

Official tickets sell through AXS online and at the AXS box office at Pier 17, open Monday to Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM. AXS shows no ticket price and notes that resale prices may exceed face value, which makes the official listing the place to start. The venue has no re-entry, so eat before doors or after the last set. After the 10 PM finish, Il Brigante stops seating dinner at 11 PM on Saturdays, while Cobble Fish and Cowgirl Seahorse stay open past midnight. Bags over 14 by 14 by 6 inches, umbrellas, cameras with detachable lenses, GoPros, selfie sticks, and outside food or drinks are not allowed, and every bag is searched. Guests who need ADA seating buy general admission, then visit the box office on show day. Fulton St is the closest subway, with accessible 2 and 3, A and C, and J and Z platforms. Allow about 10 minutes to walk east to the river, and expect crowded trains on Halloween night.
