Description

Acquired by the city in 1907, the park is among a small group of Chicago sites named for long-time Park District employees, honoring 39-year Recreation Department veteran Francis Vernon Krause.

The setup focuses on climbing elements, a drinking fountain, and a frame holding just three swings. A low perimeter wall provides seating in the clean neighborhood setting, where visitors note the updated equipment alongside the limited seating and swing capacity.
