Kingman Park-Rosedale Community Garden
4.3 (20)park
4.3 (20)A peaceful neighborhood garden where locals tend organic plots, share fruit trees, and run a community compost co-op.
Description
Garden members tend individual plots of organic vegetables, fruit, and flowers while sharing responsibility for the grounds. Several tended fruit trees remain open to anyone in the neighborhood. Alongside its role as a quiet neighborhood resting space, the site hosts a branch of DC’s Community Compost Co-op, where residents can learn composting practices and drop off vegetable scraps without holding a garden membership.
