Built in 1965 on land once owned by Colonel James W. Kidd, the site sits beside the spring-fed lake where many Dallas residents learned to swim. Across the surrounding grounds, the park features a pool, softball field, and butterfly garden alongside indoor meeting spaces. Organized programming covers all ages, from preschool Mommy and me classes to senior activities.
