Description
The park honors Kianga Isoke Palacio, a dance and music instructor who was a fixture at the nearby West Las Vegas Arts Center. Palacio developed dedicated curricula to teach neighborhood youth African dance, drum, and spoken word, alongside mentoring young girls through the Sisters in the Society Taking Action program. In addition to sports amenities, the grounds offer an open setting frequently used to host special events.
