Key Largo's Mangrove Tunnels, Three Hours From a Pink Storefront
Red mangroves close over the channel until it narrows to a hull's width. The shop on the bay side is where that trip starts.
A mangrove tunnel is a channel roofed over by red mangrove branches. The canopy closes above the boat, the light turns green, and the water underneath goes still enough to read the bottom. Key Largo has a lot of these on its bay side.
Getting into one takes a hull narrow enough to fit and someone who knows which openings lead somewhere. This tour spends three hours on exactly that, and it runs out of a kayak shop on Overseas Highway. The shop is where you start and where you finish.

Everything runs through one listing. Confirmation is instant, the ticket is mobile or paper, and the booking window closes sixty minutes before the departure you picked. The guide works in English.
Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure in Key LargoThree hours of guided paddling through the mangrove tunnels off Key Largo, with kayak, paddles and life jacket provided. Starts and ends at Florida Bay Outfitters on Overseas Highway.www.viator.comWhat the Three Hours Actually Hold

The operator describes the route as clear water, mangrove tunnels, and a running explanation of what the mangroves do for the reef and the fishery behind them. Birds, fish, turtles and manatees are listed as wildlife that frequents the area. None of them are promised.
Snorkeling is written in as optional over part of the route. Mask and snorkel are not on the included list, which runs to the kayak, the paddles and the life jackets. Bring your own to get in the water.
Single Kayak or Tandem Is Decided for You

Book two or more travelers and the shop assigns tandem kayaks automatically. Single boats exist, and the listing asks you to telephone the shop after booking to request one. The booking form carries a special requirements box, and the operator's written instruction is still to call.
One booking takes up to ten travelers. An adult has to be on the reservation.
Who the Booking Form Will Seat
The form offers two age bands. Children are priced from three to twelve. Adults run from sixteen to ninety nine. There is no band in between. A thirteen, fourteen or fifteen year old has no seat to select, and the shop is the place to settle that before you pay.
The listing marks the tour as suitable for all fitness levels, and separately advises against it for travelers who are pregnant, who have spinal injuries, or who have poor cardiovascular health. Service animals are allowed.
What Comes With the Boat
Kayak, paddles and life jackets come with the tour, and single or tandem hulls are issued as appropriate. The operator's own list of what to bring runs to a hat, sunscreen, a towel, a waterproof camera, a floating phone case and bug spray. None of it is in the ticket.
Meet at the shop at 104050 Overseas Hwy, on the bay side of the key. It is a pink building standing between The Caribbean Club and The Big Chill. The shop asks you to arrive at least fifteen minutes before the start time. The tour ends back at the same address.
Cancel at least twenty four hours out for a full refund, and inside that window nothing comes back. Bad weather is grounds for the operator to call the trip off. When it runs, you finish at the storefront you started from, with the rest of Key Largo a step outside the door.
