Description

Acquired in 1909 in Southeast Portland's Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood, the grounds retain much of their original natural topography and layout. Its architectural anchor is a 20th Century Classic comfort station pavilion designed by Ellis Lawrence, set alongside tennis and volleyball courts, open green spaces, and play equipment. Plantings and bushes change through the seasons, offering a setting for picnics and dog walking that stays surprisingly quiet and noise-insulated despite bordering a school and a main road.
