Kelly’s Landing
attraction
A historic South Boston dock that anchored neighborhood gatherings for decades around legendary fried clams.
Description

Long before taking on its famous moniker, the site was known as City Landing, a public waterfront dock. Its identity shifted with the 1927 opening of an eatery celebrated for fried clams, becoming a landmark where generations of residents coordinated to meet until it closed in 1974.
