Kelley Point Park
4.4 (1,701)park
Set where the Columbia and Willamette meet, trails thread through native cottonwoods to expansive river views.
Description

Beside the main channels, the park takes in the Columbia Slough, where slow-moving water creates a resting place for native Chinook and coho salmon and trout. More than 90 acres of black cottonwood forest shelter wildlife including bald eagles, osprey, beavers, and coyotes. Paved paths link multiple picnic areas across the grounds, which also serve as a natural departure point to launch a canoe or kayak or hike or bike Portland’s 40-Mile Loop trail.
