Kearny Mesa Recreation Center

Developed in stages during the 1970s, the complex began with Kearny Pool in 1970 and added the recreation center building four years later. Inside the nearly 12,000-square-foot facility are a gym, game room, and craft meeting room available for rental. Outside, sports amenities extend across a soccer field and six ball fields—two lighted and four unlighted—alongside multipurpose turf, a tot lot, and picnic areas with comfort stations.
