An ancient Hawaiian healing temple anchors this wooded park, where pine-shaded trails look out over Pearl Harbor.
Description

At the entrance of this 384-acre park in the heights of Aiea sits the stone temple, once used by Hawaiian kahuna as a place of healing utilizing medicinal plants. Groves of Norfolk pines and eucalyptus trees shape the grounds, which serve as the gateway to the 4.8-mile ʻAiea Loop Trail. The forested route winds through the canopy before opening onto panoramic viewpoints across both the Koʻolau and Waiʻanae mountain ranges.
