KAYMA Algerian Eatery
4.9 (791)restaurant
Scratch-made family recipes from Batna anchor this North Beach spot, the Bay Area’s first Algerian restaurant.
Description

Wafa and Mounir named the Mason Street kitchen after the Algerian concept of a home that travels wherever it is pitched. Every dish is fully halal, built on unchanged recipes handed down by Wafa’s mother and Mounir’s family.
Hospitality is hands-on, with staff readily walking diners through the menu. Offerings include generous plates like the spicy Caravan Spiced Beef Bowl and Atlas Chicken Skewers, morning breakfast options, and house drinks such as the chilled orange blossom limeade.
