Kāneʻohe Bay Ocean Sports

Family operated since 1978 out of Heʻeia Kea Boat Harbor, the bay's largest commercial boat outfit runs 3.5-hour morning and afternoon catamaran trips set against the backdrop of the Koʻolau mountains.

Once anchored at the sandbar, the outing branches out by pace. Time on the water spans beginner-friendly snorkeling across the reef-protected bay—where reef fish and occasional sea turtles drift by—to kayaking, stand-up paddling, and lounging on floating sun decks. Those looking for higher energy can join casual water volleyball or opt for bumper tube and banana boat rides, with lunch served during the trip.
