The park takes its name from a 19th-century estate, borrowing the Greek phrase for 'beautiful view.' Set at the intersection of Columbia Road, Kalorama Road, and 19th Street NW, the grounds incorporate landscaping improvements alongside integrated storm-water management systems, maintained in partnership by the Department of General Services and the Department of Parks and Recreation.
