Kaʻiwakīloumoku Hawaiian Cultural Center
4.8 (65)museum
A cultural gathering space dedicated to Hawaiian living, traditional wayfinding, and ancestral Pacific knowledge.
Description

The name Kaʻiwakīloumoku translates to "the ʻiwa bird that hooks the islands together," recalling Kamehameha ʻEkahi’s unification of the Hawaiian Islands. Located on the Kamehameha Schools Kapālama campus, the center stages ceremonies, events, and educational programming across multiple indoor and outdoor settings centered on Nohona Hawaiʻi. Beyond campus, it links into a broader Pacific network of indigenous partners committed to ancestral knowledge and the restoration of Moananuiākea.
