Description

Established on June 19, 2020, this grove was created to commemorate Juneteenth and the struggle against racism. Beyond its symbolic purpose, the space is designed to capture the sun, casting a shifting balance of light and shadow through the branches as the day progresses. It is a slow-paced spot to sit, chat, or people-watch, framed by plantings that visitors note are almost always in bloom.
