Perched atop Rocky Butte, this park pairs historic WPA stonework with sweeping views of Portland and the Cascade peaks.
Description

Spanning 2.42 acres across the summit in Northeast Portland, the grounds drop away into rugged basalt cliffs and feature public art among the paths. Acquired in 1988 and named for Hill Military Academy founder Joseph Wood Hill, the vantage opens out toward the Columbia River, drawing visitors for sunset viewing and photography alongside wedding reservations.
