Spanning 46 acres, the park features playgrounds, bike paths, an amphitheater, and dedicated fields for baseball, softball, and football. The layout incorporates variations in levels, barbecue stands, and selected greenery. While the northern section is closed for renovations as of May 2026, the recently updated southern section remains open with views across to Brooklyn. Access is via the Delancey Street overpass crossing the FDR Drive.
