John's Water Ice

Founded in 1945 by John Cardullo, the shop prepares its water ice from a family recipe centered on fresh fruit, filtered water, and sugar. That real-fruit standard is noticeable enough to leave actual seeds in the cup, featured in flavors like lemon, cherry, strawberry, and pineapple. The counter pairs the ice with soft pretzels and ice cream such as butter pecan, maintaining quick service even through long lines.
