John Allen Payne Playground

Known locally as Under the Bridge Park or Chili Pepper Park, this neighborhood spot offers seating with tables set up for chess or eating. The playground equipment remains in good shape following recent updates, though the small basketball court needs some work and the restroom is not always clean. Because of its location, the park can get noisy, but its proximity to a nearby 7-Eleven and gas station adds convenience.
