4.5 (21)attraction
Built as a 1984 Olympic training site, this Cal State LA stadium pairs storied running lanes with a modern turf field.
Description

Selected as one of six Los Angeles locations chosen to build training tracks for the 1984 Summer Olympics, the venue was officially dedicated in May 1983 during the ARCO Jesse Owens Games regional championships. Today, it serves as the home ground for Cal State LA’s track and field squads, framed by permanent bleacher seating for approximately 5,000 spectators. A 2018 renovation refreshed the facility, outfitting the grounds with an updated running track and a new turf soccer pitch.
