Japanese Friendship Garden Pond

Known as Rohoen, the 3.5-acre space developed as a joint project between Phoenix and sister city Himeji. The grounds weave together a stroll garden, a tea garden, and a dry garden with streams, bridges, and traditional Japanese landscaping. Beyond walking the grounds, visitors can observe traditional tea ceremonies in the Musoan teahouse and participate in cultural workshops and seasonal festivals.
