Description

Established in 1977 by Aikido Shihan and Zen Master Fumio Toyoda, the center was built to bring traditional crafts, philosophy, and martial disciplines to the public. Behind an unassuming exterior, the roster stretches into surprising directions, pairing tea ceremony and origami with Iaido swordsmanship, Brazilian Capoeira, and sound bath meditation. Instruction is known for being patient and community-minded, with dedicated kids' Aikido classes alongside adult practices.
