Jan Karski bench

Sculpted by artist Karol Badyna, the monument commemorates the secret Polish underground emissary who smuggled microfilmed and eyewitness accounts of the Holocaust out of occupied Europe. The bronze figure depicts Karski seated in mid-conversation next to an empty space on the bench, symbolizing an open invitation to join his vital dialogue.
