Description
Taking its name from the Swahili word for community, Jamii launched as a pilot initiative to explore how art and wellness can gather, heal, and empower neighborhoods. Created and shaped by the community, the space operates as an ongoing effort to cultivate belonging, safety, and solidarity through creativity and connection, rooted in Bronzeville's longstanding history of cultural brilliance and resilient spirit.
