🍷 A Dinner That Changes

James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem helped found The Four Horsemen, an intimate Brooklyn restaurant where natural wine gets serious attention. Pale wood paneling and easygoing service set the tone, while the kitchen keeps the small plates moving through a rotating menu. Settle into the idea of sharing dinner rather than choosing one dish and calling it a night.

Two diners can build a meal around about five dishes, with plates easily adapted for vegetarians adding flexibility when appetites differ. The wine list leans adventurous and curated, giving the evening another thread beyond whatever the kitchen is cooking. Keep the order open to that changing lineup rather than arriving attached to one particular plate.

The restaurant opens Monday through Thursday from half past five PM to quarter to eleven PM, and Friday through Sunday from eleven AM to quarter to eleven PM. Head to 295 Grand St for a snug room where the conversation can follow the next pour.
