Description

Formed as a kettlehole by an ancient glacier and fed by natural springs, the park was established in 1891 as the Emerald Necklace's largest water body. Along the shore, a historic boathouse and bandstand anchor the grounds, framing community gatherings alongside sailing and rowing out on the water. Below the surface, those spring-fed depths also draw anglers for stocked trout fishing.
