Description

The route alternates between urban edges and forest cover: sections follow busy roadside sidewalks before tucking back into the quiet trees along the Jackson Park Golf Course. The surrounding second-growth woods support a notable variety of wildlife, serving as home to coyotes, bald eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, kingfishers, and the occasional beaver.
